My name is Deborah Zaher.

I am a Mentor, NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapist for young people.
After completing training as a Master Coach and Mentor which includes Accelerated Learning and Personal Performance, I then trained to become a Licensed NLP Practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist.

I have studied Level 4 Child Psychology and Childhood Studies and hold certificates in Mindfulness for Young People and Emotional Intelligence.

I implement Emotion Coaching throughout my work using examples that arise with the young people I work with through the many group discussions we have as well as when working one to one with them.

I am trained in basic counselling skills (which meet with the National Occupational Standards).

I have undertaken Youth Mental Health First Aider training with MHFA England which gives me knowledge and confidence to help young people who are experiencing mental health crisis, are diagnosed with mental health disorders or who are showing signs of a mental health disorder that is as yet undiagnosed.

I use the Nurtured Heart Approach (The Nurtured Heart Approach is a relationship-focused methodology for helping children (and adults) build their Inner Wealth and use their intensity in successful ways. It has become a powerful way of awakening the inherent greatness in all children while facilitating parenting and classroom success) and Non Violent Communication with the young people I work with.

I have trained in safeguarding children with the NSPCC and Sefton LSCB which gives me an understanding of how to recognise, respond to, report and record concerns about a child or young person.
I follow the child protection procedures of Sefton LSCB which can be found here.
In a school and college setting, I work with the DSL if any concerns arise.

I am enhanced DBS checked.

With the huge variety of skills, knowledge and experience I have, I have a multitude of ways of helping young people. I am committed to continuous training and development in the area of youth well-being to provide the best help, guidance and service to all the young people I come into contact with now and in the future.
